The Roland JC series of guitar amps is known around the world for their outstanding cleans. With the JC-22, you get that unmistakable Jazz Chorus sound in a compact, lightweight combo. It features two independent power amps and two specially-designed 6.5-inch speakers that deliver the authentic sound of a bigger Jazz Chorus amp, while the Dimensional Space Chorus fills the room with 3D audio effects. You also get a stereo reverb for a rich, broad sound.
JC-22: suitable for use at home
If you like to practise in the peace and quiet of your own home, the Roland Jazz Chorus 22 is a great option. Effects pedals like delay, reverb and modulation in particular will really sound optimal as a result of the JC-22's ultra-clean tone and you can use stereo units for a broad sound that is sure to inspire you. What's more, this combo is compatible with modelling technology, multi-effects and synth effects.
Connections and control
On the rear of the Roland Jazz Chorus 22, you'll find a veritable plethora of connection options such as an FX loop for hooking up external mono or stereo effects. You can even choose between connecting in series or parallel. With the line out, you can plug in a device like a mixer directly. When you plug in a set of headphones, the speakers are automatically disconnected so you can practise in silence. Using the separately-available BOSS foot switch, you can easily switch the chorus and reverb on or off wile playing.

Très heureux de cet achat. Après 2 années d'utilisation, cette ampli correspond exactement à ce que je cherchais. Si vous recherchez des sons clairs, si vous voulez profitez du potentiel de vos pédales d'effet, c'est l'ampli qu'il vous faut. N'investissez pas dans une pédale de chorus, celui de l'ampli est très proche de la BOSS CE-2W (j'avais les deux, j'ai revendu la pédale). La réverbération est pas mal non plus mais je n'ai pas pu comparer avec d'autres. La réserve est impressionnante. En utilisation maison, je dépasse rarement au quart le bouton de volume.

Ik ben superblij met de jc-22. Het is een heel handzame, serieuze versterker. Echt profi spul wat mij betreft.
Ik ben sowieso roland jc-fan. Ik ken ze bijna allemaal en heb op de meeste vaak gespeeld.
Jc-120: fantastisch, maar loeihard en loeizwaar
je moet wel een ouwe hebben, met tuimelschakelaar.
Jc-90: komt een heel eind
Jc-77: super! Jc-40 is net zoiets maar die heb ik nog niet bespeeld.
Jc-60: mijn ideale versterker ooit, de helft van een jc-120.
Jc-55: schel
Jc-20 superhandig, klein en klinkt nog verrassend goed. Zeer bruikbaar thuis en bij kleine of snelle optredens. Veel mid en helder hoog. Kan mee op de fiets en in de tram. Ik heb er twee.
En dan de jc-22: mooi afgewogen geluid, in dat opzicht beter dan de jc-20.
Aansluitmogelijkheden zijn perfect, reverb is erg goed.
De chorus is een beetje lafjes en neemt wat laagte en volume weg.
Hij is perfect voor thuis of in de studio. Bij optredens zet je er een microfoon voor en gebruik je hem als monitor. Hij verplaatst net niet genoeg lucht om het in zijn eentje te kunnen als je met een drummer speelt. Ligt ook aan de ruimte. Soms kan het wél.
Jc versterkers zijn voor cleane sounds. Akoestische dingen (ac.gitaar of viool) gaan ook mooi.
Keyboards trouwens ook (rhodes!).
Scheuren kan zeker, maar dan moet je er een niet te kinderachtige distortion voor zetten en echt weten welk geluid je precies zoekt. Geen subtiele overdrives die een buizenversterker net dat randje extra geven. Nouja. En anders koop je gewoon een Boss Katana.
Ik heb er bij Thomann een flightcase op maat bij gekocht. Dat scheelde bijna 300,-
Dat kan beter, Bax! Ik had hem graag bij jullie besteld, ook nog wel voor een paar tientjes meer.

Amazing little amp, very loud for the wattage (haven’t had it over 3 indoors yet) and a truly beautiful Chorus / reverb sound. Quality wise, feels like one of those bits of gear I’ll still have around for my kid to inherit 😂. Delivered quickly and very well packaged, would not hesitate to use Bax Music again, thanks everyone.
